Here is what is blooming in my garden right now:

Outside of containers of annuals from the various big box home improvement stores, those three plants are the only ones blooming in the small garden. That is the drawback of buying lost tag daylilies - you have no clue when they are going to bloom. It is catch-as-catch-can and looks rather pathetic. Plus it takes daylilies around two to three years to really mature so I have all these bald spots.
Perhaps I need to rethink the small garden. . .

Have you tried to do a pretend collage of your dream garden and see how you could organize it for next year? Just thinking out loud...;-)
Your lilies are absolutely beautiful! I`m sure we have the red-maroon one in the garden, although ours is not in flower yet. If the label is still there I`ll let you know what it is called.
Oh but they are beautiful. I'm tempted to try and google the names of your daylilies, but there are so many different varieties... it could take me hours ;-)
I'm thinking that you must have a lot of similar foliage in your garden. Perhaps that is something to take into consideration. Since we mostly see the foliage of our plants and their flowers only for a couple of weeks. (I'm a trained garden designer and always look for contrasting foliages to plant next to each other. Round next to grass, big next to small, etc.)

Anyes: As these are perennials, I'm just going to have to be patient and hope that they fill in all those blank areas.
DW: I've looked at the daylily nursery's catalog and found some that are close, but I'm not feeling confident enough to actually say that is what they are called.
Carolina: I looked at that page that same day (I'm having Internet connection problems) and the eye of that one was really green so I don't think it is the same thing.
And I wish I could have you design the garden as it is rather sad looking.
Anne: If they can survive Alaskan winters I bet they would thrive quite nicely there in Scotland.
