This is the newest barn quilt on the McDowell County Quilt Trail and one that I thought was a Dresden plate pattern. See how much I know; it is called Bow Tie.

Well now it took me a while but I can now see why it might be called that. Better, to my eyes, than the last one anyway.
Fantastic barn quilt image! I really love the contrast of the weathered gray wood with the brightly colored bow ties.
Never mind the quilt, I want the tumble-down barn!!
Toffeeapple: I can see the bow ties, too, but it wasn't after I read the blog post. I still say Dresden plate even knowing I'm wrong.
