I'm running very behind today and so what I was going to post will have to wait until tomorrow.
In the meantime, I took this picture as I was taking the garbage to the curb. I wasn't even looking through the viewfinder; just pushing the shutter button to see what kind of random picture I would get.
I really like the results.

So interesting. Your blog is an education for me in many ways. Dorothy.
One woman's trash shot is another woman's Vemeer.

Karen! I love the colours and the textures... Thank you
Lovely! If I do that (usually accidentally) I tend to get an unflattering shot of my chubby knee.....
Dorothy: Maybe I should have been a librarian after all or an historian?
Jane: Well it is more of a taking-out-the-trash shot, but the experiment turned out well.
Anyes: Thank you and thank god that the landscapers have to ultimately deal with the leaves, not me.
Rachel: Gak! Let's not talk about chubby knees; mine are world-class. I look down now and see my grandmother's legs.
Sometimes random is the best. It seems our mind keeps track of what's cool around us without notifying us that it does...
Very nice leaves, painting-like!
Vince: And now I'll never be able to replicate that shot, since I will be so self-conscious about making it look just as good as this random one.
