Oh! As the picture loaded I thought:Good! She's doing the cats!"I'm so sorry to read this, Karen, but I know she must have lived well. Peace.
It is difficult when you lose a loving companion. I lost my cat last year who lived with me for 18 years. It is difficult to say goodbye, but do not be afraid to say hello to a new cat and give that one love and care and make their life good.
So sorry for your loss. What a lovely tribute to Miss Mouse. Beautiful cat, she looks very sweet.
Thinking of you at this sad time - people who don't have pets don't understand the heartache of losing one.
How sad, I hope that you remember all the good times.
Di, Rose, Diane, Anne and Toffeeapple - Thank you all so much for your kind comments. It is so strange to come home to a quiet house. Miss Mouse was mostly Siamese and would talk all day long from the time I got up until I went to bed (and sometimes afterwards). My other two, Joe and Zoey, are very quiet cats; it is rare to hear even a small meow out of them. I think we all miss her. She was a big part of this household from the last century to this one.
Karen,I too had a cat that was with me 18 or 19 years. It's been 2 years since she died, and I still miss her. However, the transition was made a little easier as I had acquired another gray tabby a few months before she died. ~MB
So sorry to read that this beautiful cat has left you, after so many good years. It is heartbreaking to lose them.
