Contortions at Lunch


I don't know. This doesn't look very comfortable to me.


But if it works for her, I guess it works for her. The house finch looks skeptical, however.

I never thought I'd say "look at the abs on that flicker!" What a riot. I just got done explaining to my husband that the three flickers in the back yard wouldn't land on our feeder. (He was hoping they'd prefer the sunflower seeds to our house.)

Anyes: I just don't get it except that the sunflower seeds appeal more than the suet cakes. She was back at it this morning.

Murr: It is sunflower seeds in the feeder. Thank god my house is brick with vinyl trim, so I never had to deal with them drilling holes like at your house. Tell Dave to keep those feeders filled with sunflower seeds and maybe you can distract them.
